Labor Rates
Trinidad and Las Animas
County have an abundant pool of experienced
workers, many with backgrounds in mining,
maintenance, electrical systems and other
skills. However due to the recent increase
in building, skilled carpenters,
electricians and plumbers are in short
supply. Trinidad State Junior College
annually produces graduates with skills in
liberal arts, the vocations and computer
maintenance. Recent experience has shown
multiple applications for each position
available - including applicants currently
living in the area and from many people who
would readily move to the area if employment
was available. Following is a listing of
